Green Pug and Olympus Tough TG4

Here's a nice moth from the house wall mid July and two images from the two macro modes of the Olympus Tough TG4. You can see the huge difference in its stacking function on the right hand image

On the same night this magnificent Swallowtail moth. I wonder what percentage of the population even knows they exist.

Dalgety Bay Sedges

Carex remota - Remote Sedge

Carex otrubae - False Fox-sedge

Dalgety Bay Grasses

Poa annua - Annual Meadow Grass

Holcus lanatus - Yorkshire Fog

Procumbent Yellow-sorrel, Oxalis corniculata

A very nice "weed" which can be found in thin soil. This one from the base of my garage. Purple leaves make a nice contrast with the small yellow flowers.
